The Leica IIIf is a renowned 35mm rangefinder camera produced by E. Leitz of Germany. Known for their superior quality, Leica cameras hold a legendary reputation among photographers. The Leica IIIf, produced between 1950-56, was one of the last generations of M39 mount rangefinders before the introduction of the M-series cameras.
This model features dual viewfinder and rangefinder windows, a removable base plate for easy film loading, along with dual shutter speed dials for high and low speeds. It also includes a diopter control for the viewfinder for enhanced user convenience.
This camera started its life as a Leica III, but was professionally factory converted to a IIIf.
